Norton Children’s Heart Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the leading provider of pediatric heart care in Louisville, Southern Indiana and across Kentucky. Our sophisticated cardiac catheterization laboratories allow for minimally invasive and precise diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, a type of high blood pressure that affects the arteries in the lungs.
Our team, led by pediatric cardiologist Edward S. Kim, M.D., provides comprehensive care for children with pulmonary hypertension. Our board-certified and fellowship-trained specialists will create a pulmonary hypertension treatment plan tailored for your child and provide follow-up care. Diagnosing and monitoring pulmonary hypertension often is done by cardiac catheterization, and our specialists will know when these tests are necessary for your child.
Our pulmonary hypertension team works closely with other physicians and programs within Norton Children’s Heart Institute. Our team performs all diagnostic testing, surgeries and follow-up care at Norton Children’s Hospital.
