School Re-Entry Program

Submit request or call to make an appointment.

Child life therapists are available to visit a cancer or heart patient’s school to help classmates understand what happened while the patient was gone, and why he or she may look different upon returning to school. Child life therapists also help classmates learn ways to help integrate the patient back into the classroom, as well as provide answers to tough questions that kids may have about cancer.

Classmates have the opportunity to share their feelings and experiences and ask questions.
