Norton Children’s Safety Care-a-Van

Bringing safety and wellness resources to you

The Safety Care-a-Van is coming to your neighborhood with items to help keep you and your family safe and healthy. We want to teach your family how to avoid injuries, the No. 1 cause of death in children. We’re putting information into action — visit us for educational resources and free safety items.

The Safety Care-a-Van is stocked with medication storage bags, bicycle helmets, car seats and more. (Items are available while supplies last. All resources may not always be available.)

When you receive a safety item from the van, you’ll be required to complete a survey about safety and wellness needs in your community. This anonymous survey helps Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness understand the true needs of the families we serve and gives us information to better serve you. Your voice matters.

We are committed to meeting families where they are. If your neighborhood and/or organization is interested in hosting the Safety Care-a-Van at an event, complete the form below to submit a request. At this time, only events with an estimated attendance of 100 people or more will be considered.

The Safety Care-a-Van is funded by the Irvin F. and Alice S. Estcorn Charitable Foundation in partnership with Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation.
