Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness provides year-round car seat help by certified car seat technicians at several Norton Healthcare locations. Our techs are certified to check proper fit and installation of conventional and special needs car seats and can help identify counterfeit car seats and those not approved for use in the United States. Car Seat Checks are offered weekly at the following locations:

You may be eligible for a car seat at no charge.

Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness offers car seat classes to help provide car seats for families experiencing financial hardship. Resources are limited and only given to those who register, complete the class, and can demonstrate the ability to safely install the seat.

Classes are one hour long and conclude with a car seat installation in the vehicle. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays every month, and a Saturday morning class is every other month. To enroll, call (502) 629-7358 or submit the Community Car Seat Class Enrollment form
