Spine Care

The spine includes vertebral discs that help cushion the vertebrae, muscles and ligaments that join it all together. A healthy spine has a slight curve to it, which helps the body absorb pressure from walking, running and other activities.

Certain conditions cause the spine to curve or twist more than it should. Some conditions are present at birth, while others develop over time or can be the result of an injury.
At Norton Children’s, we provide care for babies, children and teens with different kinds of spine conditions in a caring and compassionate way.
