Children with uncontrolled Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes are at high risk for short-term and long-term diabetes complications, including a shortened lifespan or even death.

The Wendy Novak Diabetes Institute Diabetes Adherence Resource Team (DART) Clinic aims to help children experiencing uncontrolled blood sugar and their families. The DART Clinic works to minimize and prevent diabetes complications for children and teens by providing extra resources to stay on track with their A1C.
