Multidisciplinary clinics are designed to combine several specialties into one visit, creating a convenient way to manage your child’s care. Specialists work together to create a coordinated plan for your child and make sure the entire family or support system is involved with the child’s treatment plan, care and follow up.
Specialists from Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, see patients at multidisciplinary clinics throughout the area so children have access to the expertise available through Norton Children’s all at one location. Many of these clinics include support from social services, therapies and care coordinators.
