Free baseball clinic before Saturday’s Bats game

Kids can go on the field and get instruction from Bats’ players and coaches

Kids who arrive by 5 p.m. for Saturday’s Bats game can get instruction on baseball skills from players and coaches. The pros will cover hitting, pitching and fielding,

All kids in attendance between ages 6 and 12 can take part in the free on-field clinic with Louisville Bats players, presented by Norton Children’s. The gates open at 4:30 p.m., clinic starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. All kids should bring their baseball gloves for the clinic.

Also included in the night, the first 100 children will receive a free bike helmet and helmet fit test, provided by Norton Children’s Prevention & Wellness and Safe Kids Louisville.
