The Children’s Hospital Foundation Piggies for Preemies program challenges children and adults throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana to fill piggy banks with spare change to support premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Norton Children’s Hospital.
Each spring, kids enter a drawing to win a $500 scholarship. All they have to do is return a full piggy bank, canister or virtual piggy bank. We are pleased to announce Angelena Henderson from Ohio County Middle School in Hartford, Kentucky won the 2017 scholarship. Congratulations, Angelena!
The 2017 Piggies for Preemies campaign was very successful. Kids collected more than $36,000 to help provide a healthy start for premature babies at Norton Children’s Hospital. Thank you to BB&T for its partnership and everyone who participated in the2017 program!
Piggies for Piggies is a year-round fundraising initiative, so get ready for the 2018 campaign now! Use your own piggy bank or create a virtual piggy bank to help provide a healthy start for premature babies at Norton Children’s Hospital.
