Walter Clare’s planned gift to the Norton Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) will ensure that it remains a leader in the region for neonatal care.
His donation will assist the NICU in providing outstanding patient care, including through technology, new equipment and recruitment of physicians. Patients from Shelby County, Kentucky, also will have access to an assistance fund that will help with the travel, care and living expenses of their hospitalization.
