Chili’s Clip for Kids® started its month-long drive to gather participants and raise money with a communitywide kickoff on Monday, April 17, at the Chili’s Grill & Bar at 421 S. Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville, Kentucky.

The kickoff offered fun activities for the family. Aiden Johnson, a two-time pediatric cancer survivor who is serving as honorary chair for this year’s Chili’s Clip for Kids, along with several other pediatric cancer survivors, joined the community to enjoy dinner and share their stories.

This is the fourth year for Chili’s Clip for Kids, an event that challenges participants to raise funds in return for shaving, trimming or clipping their hair in solidarity with kids fighting cancer right here in our community.

The clipping event takes place on Sunday, May 21, at Fourth Street Live! All proceeds raised through the Children’s Hospital Foundation will benefit the cancer program at Norton Children’s Hospital.
