Foundation Golf Outing

The Kentucky Derby brings many great traditions to Louisville. Another great tradition occurs on the Monday of Derby Week: the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation Golf Outing, which raises funds for Norton Children’s Hospital. The 2023 outing raised more than $370,000, thanks to our generous sponsors and community support!

Participants also are invited to the John Asher “Just for Kids” reception on the Sunday before the golf outing.


Bourbon & Bowties™

The 14th Bourbon & Bowties™ will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024. The event will feature some of the area’s best chefs preparing hors d’oeuvres, bourbon tastings, the opportunity to purchase a custom bow tie or bangle, and more.

Tickets for the 2024 Bourbon & Bowties event will go on sale Thursday, March 21 at 9 am.


Wings for Kids

The Wings for Kids Air Show features a variety of radio controlled flying exhibitions, including aerobatic airplanes, Warbirds from World War I and World War II, turbine-powered jet aircraft and scale vintage planes. Kids will enjoy the popular airplane candy drop, inflatables and a tour of the “Just for Kids” transport vehicles.

Bike to Beat Cancer

For more than 15 years, thousands of families, friends and neighbors have come together to support loved ones and further the lifesaving mission of Norton Cancer Institute!

Whether you are ready to hit the road, want to participate but can’t be there, or have never been on a bike before, we have an option for you! Choose from a 5-, 15-, 35-, 65-, or 100-mile supported ride, an hourlong spin ride or a virtual ride.

Not a cyclist? Join the NEW 1-mile fun walk. Volunteers also are needed to help support the mission and cheer on riders!
