Volunteer at Norton Children’s

“I enjoy volunteering because I have the chance to give back to my community. It is truly heartwarming to see people’s smiles when I offer them some help. The personal reward often has been much greater than the effort expended. Volunteering has truly confirmed my passion to become a physician one day to continue to help others.”

JULIE NGUYEN, VOLUNTEER, NORTON HOSPITAL

Our volunteers are truly special. While most people don’t choose to spend their time in a hospital, our volunteers do — dedicating their talents and service to our facilities, employees, patients and visitors. The impact of our volunteers is felt throughout our hospitals in the lives they touch every day.

Volunteers add extra warmth that is appreciated by our patients, their families and our staff. They are exceptional people who take the extra steps to make a difference in other people’s lives. Volunteering is a great learning experience and an excellent way to meet people and make new friends.

You do not need any special skills to be a volunteer. We will provide the training you need. Opportunities are available in patient and nonpatient areas.
