The Lawrence Family Foundation is challenging the community to match its $2 million gift for the CICU.

Just over a year ago, Norton Children’s Hospital announced an expansive $78.3 million renovation project. Since then, a lot has changed throughout the hospital.

In March, we opened the S. Randolph Scheen Family Conference Center — the first phase of the project. Now, we’re building a new medical/surgical unit on the sixth floor. Once that unit is finished later this year, work will begin on the Jennifer Lawrence Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The CICU will open in 2019.

The entire project, which includes renovations to the “Just for Kids” Critical Care Center and neonatal intensive care units, will be completed in 2021.
