Manage Your Child’s Prescriptions in Norton MyChart

Norton MyChart makes it easy to stay on top of your child’s medications — anytime, anywhere. From requesting refills to tracking prescriptions, you can manage everything in one place.

  1. Download the MyChart app or visit NortonChildrens.com/MyChart.
  2. Create an account or sign in.
  3. Verify your information and complete account setup.
  4. Once your account is set up, request proxy access to your child’s account.
  5. Select Menu, then Personalize.
  6. Fill in the details on the form, and select Submit Request.
  7. Norton Children’s Information Management staff will review your request.

Set Your Preferred Pharmacy

  1. Log in to your child’s Norton MyChart account using proxy access.
  2. Select Menu, then Medications.
  3.  Select Go to Manage My Pharmacies.
  4. Select Add a pharmacy and search for your preferred Norton Pharmacy location. Be sure to select Norton Pharmacy – Blankenbaker if you’d like the option for home delivery if you live in Kentucky or Indiana.
  5. Remove pharmacies you no longer wish to use.

Refill Prescriptions in Just a Few Taps

Skip the phone call. With Norton MyChart, you can quickly request refills for your child’s eligible prescriptions.

To request a refill:

  1. Log in to your child’s Norton MyChart account using proxy access.
  2. Go to Medications.
  3. Select the prescription you need to refill.
  4. Select Request refill.
  5. Choose your preferred pharmacy or delivery option.
     

You’ll receive updates as the prescription is processed.

*If you are enrolled in Norton Healthcare’s financial assistance program, you can have your medications delivered to your home. You will be asked to provide a payment method, but you will not be charged. If you have questions, call Norton Pharmacy – Blankenbaker at (502) 559-1380

Choose How You Get Your Child’s Medication

Norton MyChart gives you flexible options:

  • Pick up at a Norton Pharmacy location.
  • Set up home delivery (when available).

Select what works best for your schedule and needs. To set up home delivery:

  1. Open Norton MyChart.
  2. Select Menu, then Medications.
  3. Choose the prescription(s) for refill that you’d like delivered.
  4. Select Home Delivery.
  5. Complete the remaining steps to complete your refill.

Track Your Child’s Prescriptions

Stay informed every step of the way. In Norton MyChart, you can:

  • View current and past prescriptions.
  • Check refill status.
  • See when medications are ready for pickup or delivery.

Get Reminders So You Never Miss a Dose

Turn on notifications in your child’s Norton MyChart account to receive:

  • Refill reminders
  • Updates when prescriptions are ready
  • Alerts about delays or issues

Review Your Child’s Medications Anytime

View a complete list of your child’s medications in one place. You can:

  • See dosages and instructions.
  • Review prescribing providers.
  • Keep an up-to-date record for appointments.
