Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, announces the opening of Norton Children’s Medical Group – Jeffersontown. Norton Children’s Medical Group now has 25 locations to serve your family throughout Louisville and surrounding communities, including Southern Indiana.
Formerly Pediatric Partners of Jeffersontown, Norton Children’s Medical Group – Jeffersontown is located at 3840 Ruckriegel Parkway, Suite 105. The practice includes board-certified pediatricians Mari E. Knights, M.D., Sara “Sally” Diebold, M.D., Deborah I. Wallace, M.D. and Joseph C. Pappalardo, M.D., and has been serving the Jeffersontown community since 2002.
“The four pediatricians available at our practice are dedicated professionals focused on the health and well-being of children of all ages, from newborns to teens,” Dr. Knights said. “It truly is a joy to care for our community’s children. Many of us are parents ourselves, so we understand how important the relationship of a trusted pediatrician is to families. We aim to partner with families to help them live healthy lives.”
Our trusted pediatricians with Norton Children’s Medical Group provide routine well checks and preventive medicine, as well as treat minor illnesses and injuries in newborns to teenagers. For your family’s convenience, we see new patients within 24 hours and offer same-day sick appointments.
If your child ever should require surgery, hospitalization or care for a complex or chronic condition, our pediatricians already are connected to the pediatric specialists at Norton Children’s Hospital and Norton Children’s Medical Group. Specialty services include Norton Children’s Neurosciences Institute, Norton Children’s Cancer Institute and Norton Children’s Endocrinology — all affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine.
Our network of pediatricians and specialists will coordinate to provide your child with the best possible care. With our many locations across the region, care and compassion are never far away. Extended weekday and Saturday hours are available at most of our pediatricians’ offices.

Some of our locations offer additional services, including Spanish-speaking providers and programs to help children and families. Many Norton Children’s Medical Group practices include a prescriptive pantry, a food pantry located within a health care setting. We understand the lifelong implications of child hunger as well as the barriers and challenges families face. That is why we extended our prescriptive food pantry model to select Norton Children’s Medical Group pediatricians’ offices and Norton Community Medical Associates family practice offices.
Our providers screen patients for signs of hunger and food insecurity. Providers then are able to provide families with nutritionally sound food as well as information on how to get the best nutrition with limited resources. The prescriptive pantries are made possible through generous grants supported by the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Community Foundation of Louisville – One Louisville.
