We’re dreaming big for kids, and we want your voice at the center

Join us for our first “Follow the Balloon” community listening session Tuesday, July 29, at Tully Elementary School. We’ll share updates, answer questions, and most importantly, listen to what matters to you. Whether you’re a parent, educator, caregiver, or community member, you can impact the future of kids’ health for generations to come.

This is more than a hospital; it’s a village of healing. The new campus will offer everything from surgical suites and emergency care to integrated behavioral health services, family spaces, and pediatric research facilities. Imagine a destination where children and families are cared for in body, mind, and spirit. Your ideas will help make that vision a reality.

Be part of building something historic. The future of pediatric care starts with conversations like this. Let’s imagine together. Every child deserves a space of healing, hope, and heart that’s Just for Kids.

Norton Children’s plans to build a new pediatric care campus that will include a full-service hospital for children with complex medical needs, research facilities and expanded specialty services.

The project – near the intersection of Interstates 64 and 265 in Jefferson County – marks a major expansion and will feature the health system’s second dedicated children’s hospital. It will complement care provided at Norton Children’s Hospital, Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Norton Children’s Medical Center and other specialty and clinical locations.

“We believe that all families should have access to care that meets their children’s unique needs. Our vision is to build a destination for pediatric care unlike anything Kentucky or the region has seen.”

–Russell F. Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s
