Norton Children’s Medical Center is a unique regional facility, designed “Just for Kids,” that brings the compassionate, skilled pediatric care of Norton Children’s Hospital to residents of northeastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, and the surrounding area. Laboratory and X-ray HoursWalk-ins: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.All bloodwork (labs) and X-rays are performed on a walk-in basis, except glucose (blood sugar) testing. To schedule a glucose test, call (502) 629-5437 (KIDS), option 3.
After-hours testing is available in the emergency department, located on the Chamberlain Lane side of the building to the right of the main doors.

For self-pay patients, the cost of a visit typically ranges from $100 to $250, depending on the services provided. There may be additional charges for services such as lab tests or X-rays.
