In 2025, the 15th Bourbon & Bowties celebrated all our honorees from the past 14 years and the care they received at Norton Children’s Hospital.
The inaugural Bourbon & Bowties event was established in memory of Charles W. Gant, a loving and energetic 8-year-old boy who passed away from viral encephalitis on June 3, 2009. Since then, Bourbon & Bowties has honored Laurel E. Dortch, Maxwell W. Johnson, Owen F. McMasters, Anna-Maria Beck, Clara and Wilson McGarvey, Tanner Demling, Mason Christensen, Mya White, Hazel Leggett, Johnathan Young, James Logan Vaughn and Annalise Aguirre. The event also will continue to honor and remember former head chef and host Dean Corbett.
