Here’s your chance to win a brand-new home, a 2024 BMW and other prizes. Tickets are now on sale for the Norton Children’s Hospital Home & BMW Raffle.
The raffle offers a chance to win a new home in Norton Commons valued at approximately $800,000 and a 2024 BMW X3 from BMW of Louisville plus $10,000 cash. In lieu of accepting the home, the grand prize winner will have the option of choosing a $500,000 cash prize.
This year, all proceeds from the raffle will support the Norton Children’s Hospital “Just for Kids” Transport Team. The team operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and brings more than 3,000 children to the hospital annually by ambulance, helicopter or airplane.
Tickets are $100 each, and only 16,000 will be sold. Tickets can be purchased online at HomeAndBMWRaffle.com or by calling (502) 420-4299.
“We’re so excited for this year’s Home & BMW Raffle benefiting Norton Children’s Hospital,” said Lynnie Meyer, Ed.D., R.N., CFRE, senior vice president and chief development officer, Norton Healthcare. “The ‘Just for Kids’ Transport Team is dedicated to working with ill and injured newborn and pediatric patients from throughout Kentucky and Indiana. By participating in this year’s raffle, the community can directly support the team’s lifesaving work.”
This year’s home, located at 6007 Passionflower Drive in Prospect, Kentucky, includes 2,400 square feet on two floors, three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The primary suite, featuring sloped ceilings and a large walk-in closet, is located on the first floor. The living spaces are open and flooded with light emanating from the 19-foot vault in the living room, which showcases two pairs of dormers. The kitchen has three windows that engage the streetscape in the front while connecting to the covered porch in the rear via the adjacent living room. The second floor includes a bedroom, full bath and flex space with access to a second-floor covered porch offering fantastic views. Open houses will be held every Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7 through Nov. 12, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets also will be on sale during the open houses.
Anna Triplett with Ramage Company developed the house plans with Jeremy Sommer of Sommer Design Studios. Ramage Company is overseeing construction. Amanda Stubblefield with Ramage Company is providing all interior design services; she procured her furniture selections from Clare Miller Home. Ramage Company’s design and construction efforts are being implemented with support from suppliers and trade partners who are donating time and materials to the project.
“The Ramage Company is proud to be part of the raffle house program for the 11th year,” said David Ramage, founder and president, Ramage Company. “Being able to support Norton Children’s Hospital and the thousands of families who benefit from their services is both rewarding and humbling.”
The drawing will be held during the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation’s annual Snow Ball gala Nov. 18. Winners will be announced that night on the Norton Children’s Facebook page. Once the first prize is drawn for the 2024 BMW X3 plus $10,000 cash, the winner’s ticket will be put back into the drawing for the home. That means one lucky person has an opportunity to win both prizes.
The 2024 BMW X3 from BMW of Louisville is alpine white with a black interior. It features heated front seats and Bluetooth wireless technology. The package includes full maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.
The raffle is sponsored by Norton Commons, BMW of Louisville, Ramage Company, WAVE and Alpha Media.
Special early bird drawings will take place in the months leading up to the final raffle drawing. Every ticket purchased prior to the deadlines will be entered in the drawing for the special giveaways.
