… into ‘what will’
What will happen when these increased needs are met? The possibilities are endless. But we know that all children deserve the chance to dream their big dreams and live their best lives. Find out more and give your gift now. JustImagineCampaign.com
This statement rings true for Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn. Their entire goal is to “make things better,” according to Dr. Lynn. It’s also to help the city, community and different organizations realize their potential.
While you may know them from the Lynn family name on sports stadiums, education initiatives or eye care, their generosity has extended to numerous initiatives in Kentucky.
“We strongly believe in giving back,” said Mark Lynn, O.D., owner and founder of Lynn Family Vision & Training. “While we look at how we can leave a legacy for our four children and 17 grandchildren, the organizations we choose to support make a difference for everyone.”
The Lynns have now volunteered to lead a new project that aims to improve the health of the entire community in a big way: They are serving as co-chairs of the “Just Imagine” campaign, an initiative through not-for-profit Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s that will shape the future of the community through investments in health care for our region and beyond.
“Being part of this campaign is an opportunity to truly change lives in this community,” Dr. Lynn said. “Several of our grandchildren have needed care in the Norton Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit and have all thrived because of the high level of care there.”
“Having access to this kind of high-level care makes a healthier community,” Cindy said. “But this takes a commitment from the entire community if we’re all going to have access to advanced care, expertise and research that advances medical treatments and medications.”

Just imagine a great community made even greater thanks to improved health and quality of life — for everyone. The “Just Imagine” campaign is a visionary journey that strives to build an even greater community.
That goal requires investments that give greater access to medical expertise for all children; expand innovative clinical research; and recruit, train and attract even more best-in-class pediatric specialists to Norton Children’s.
“In the next two years, this campaign aims to make some transformational investments in clinical care and research for the entire community,” said Lynnie Meyer, R.N., Ed.D., FAHP, CFRE, senior vice president and chief development officer, Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s. “When you support the ‘Just Imagine’ campaign, you help change lives.”
The $200 million campaign will support health initiatives and elevate programs and services to help community members regionally and nationally through the not-for-profit Norton Children’s and Norton Healthcare.
