Norton Children’s
New Hospital Campus
Norton Children’s is planning a new care campus and second dedicated pediatric hospital in Jefferson County to serve kids from across Kentucky, Southern Indiana and beyond.
We know care close to home matters — it’s important to us too. Last year, we saw more than 100,00 kids from Elizabethtown, Hardin County and surrounding communities, most in our local offices.
Join us for a “Follow the Balloon” community listening session Thursday, Nov. 6, at G. C. Burkhead Elementary School in Elizabethtown. We’ll share updates, answer questions, and most importantly, listen to what matters to you. Whether you’re a parent, educator, caregiver, or community member, you can impact the future of kids’ health for generations to come.
Be part of building something historic. The future of pediatric care starts with conversations like this. Let’s imagine together. Every child deserves a space of healing, hope, and heart that’s Just for Kids.

Tell us what matters most when it comes to children’s health and wellness. Your responses will directly influence how the campus takes shape, ranging from the services to the family spaces.
“We believe that all families should have access to care that meets their children’s unique needs. Our vision is to build a destination for pediatric care unlike anything Kentucky or the region has seen.” –Russell F. Cox, president and CEO of Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s
