Norton Children’s Hospital Home & BMW Raffle tickets sell out

For the first time, the Norton Children’s Hospital Home & BMW Raffle tickets have sold out.

Tickets for the 2020 Norton Children’s Hospital Home & BMW Raffle have sold out. It’s the first time in the fundraising raffle’s history that all the tickets sold.

The 12,000 tickets were sold with days to go before the Nov. 21 drawing during the Snow Ball gala, which will be online only this year to protect the health of the community.

“For 10 years the community has supported the work of Norton Children’s Hospital through our exciting Home & BMW Raffle. This year the needs of the hospital are greater than ever before, and our community has stepped up in a big way by helping us sell out this raffle,” said Lynnie Meyer, Ed.D., R.N., CFRE, senior vice president and chief development officer, Norton Healthcare. “This support is reflective of how much love there is for the work of the hospital and its amazing caregivers.”

In addition to the new home (valued at about $750,000) at 6132 Mistflower Circle in Norton Commons, prizes include a 2021 BMW X3 from BMW of Louisville plus $10,000 cash.

All proceeds from the raffle support Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and the care provided at Norton Children’s Hospital through the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Ramage Company, which developed the house plans with C3 Studio LLC, oversaw construction of the three bedroom, 3.5 bath home. Interior design services were provided by Leslie Cotter Interiors in conjunction with support from suppliers and trade partners who have donated time and materials to the project.

“This is our eighth year supporting this effort, and each time it has been a wonderful project,” said David Ramage, founder and president, Ramage Company. “Everyone involved knows the value of helping the children of this community, and we’re honored we can give back.”

The drawing will be held Nov. 21 at the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation’s annual Snow Ball gala. Winners will be announced on the Norton Children’s Facebook page.

Once the first-prize drawing is completed for the 2021 BMW X3 plus $10,000 cash, the winner’s ticket will be put back into the drawing for the home. That means one lucky person has an opportunity to win both prizes.

The 2021 BMW X3 from BMW of Louisville is alpine white with a black interior.

The raffle is sponsored by Norton Commons, BMW of Louisville, Ramage Company, WAVE 3 News, Leslie Cotter Interiors and Alpha Media.

Special early bird drawings included gas for a year, a Microsoft Surface Pro and Apple iPad, and groceries for a year.
