Norton Children’s Craniofacial Disorders Clinic

Treatment plans for craniofacial disorders often require several surgeries over many years. Our multidisciplinary craniofacial team has more than nine decades of collective experience in craniofacial surgery to correct abnormalities, including cleft lip and palate, as well as the most rare and challenging neurological syndromes.

The craniofacial team is led by Norton Children’s board-certified plastic surgeon Scott Rapp, M.D., and board-certified neurosurgeons Thomas M. Moriarty, M.D., Ph.D., and Ian S. Mutchnick, M.D. Our pediatric surgeons are recognized leaders in their fields, with extensive expertise and specialized training in treating craniofacial disorders of children.

Our multidisciplinary craniofacial team includes ear, nose and throat physicians; orthodontists; speech pathologists; dentists; physical and occupational therapists; pulmonologists and sleep medicine specialists; and social workers. The child’s family also plays an important part in the care team.
