Norton Children’s Endocrinology has a location on the seventh floor of the Novak Center for Children’s Health in downtown Louisville.
The Novak Center for Children’s Health is on Chestnut Street between Preston and Jackson streets. Parking is available in the UofL Physicians Outpatient Center Parking Garage at 414 E. Chestnut St. A pedway connecting the garage to the Novak Center is located on the third level. TARC routes 19, 21, 28 and 52 stop close to the Novak Center.
The board-certified pediatric endocrinologists at Norton Children’s Endocrinology provide specialized care for all types of endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, as well as growth issues in children and disorders of the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands and gonads (testicles and ovaries).
When their identical twin daughters, Quinby and Stella, were born, Natalie Chrisman and her husband, David, knew very little about Type 1 diabetes. There was no known family history of the disease.
Copays or fees are typically due at the time of service. If you have insurance, your copay amount will depend on your plan. For self-pay patients, the cost of a visit typically ranges from $100 to $250, depending on the services provided. There may be additional charges for services such as lab tests or X-rays.
